The 2020 Blackboard Merlot was crafted from multiple vineyards in Washington State; Soaring Eagle, McNary, and Four Feathers. Farmed using sustainable practices, the vines were harvested in the early fall mornings of 2020. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, with three months on oak (45% new French oak). After careful evaluation and blending by our winemaker, only 797 cases were produced.

-90 points, James Suckling,

"This 2020 Merlot has 17% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot blended in. Coming from the Soaring Eagle, McNary and Four Feathers vineyards, this shows off medium-bodied red raspberry, black tea and garrigue notes on the palate, with hints of Arabica bean. Enjoy this excellent value Merlot now and over the next five years. Drink 2023-2028."
