The 2019 Blackboard Merlot was crafted from a single vineyard from Washington State: Conner Lee. Farmed using sustainable practices, the vines were hand- harvested in the early fall mornings of 2019. Upon arrival at the winery, each cluster was hand-sorted and destemmed. The wine was fermented in stainless- steel tanks, and aged on French oak for three months (30% new). After careful evaluation and blending by our winemaking team, 1,253 cases were produced.
